A level Results Day 2020: What you need to know.
11th August 2020
Find out exactly what you can do to prepare for A level results on Thursday.
Red crest careers have put together an A level Results Day 2020 guide full of top tips.
This year is full of uncertainty for the 2020 cohort. Students maybe unsure how their grades will be awarded and what this means. But there are things you can do in advance of Thursday’s results so you are better prepared on the day.
- Log in and check your email address is correct: uni’s might need to contact you and send you reading lists, accommodation details etc. Also check your phone number and postal address.
- Track is ‘frozen’ in the days leading to the publication of your A-level results, meaning you won’t be able to make any changes during this time. Contact UCAS directly if you need to update any information, you’ll need to provide your UCAS ID.
- If you are concerned that you will not obtain the required grades you can research CLEARING places via UCAS. Write down all the information you need such as University and course, names and codes, phone numbers.
- Your school or college will have been in touch to let you know where you can get your results – for example the school portal. If you are unsure, email your school to check.
